Marc Darmohraj
Vice President East
Hometown: Pleasantville, New York
University: McGill University
Year and Field of Study: Economics and Latin American Studies
Marc is a third year student at McGill University, majoring in Economics and Latin American Studies. On campus, he is a member of Effusion A Cappella in addition to his role as president of the McGill Ukrainian Students’ Association. Marc loves to travel, and in 2017 he went to Lviv to study Ukrainian language and culture at the Ukrainian Catholic University. Falling in love with the region, he decided to spend 3 weeks the following summer teaching English in Lvivska Oblast through GoCamp, a program affiliated with the Ukrainian NGO GoGlobal. These experiences motivated him to get progressively more involved in the Ukrainian community at school and at home, and he is thrilled to be able to make a difference through his new position on the SUSK board.
