Irina is a fourth year student studying Economics at the University of Manitoba and is currently serving her second year as President of their Ukrainian Students’ Association. She is also involved with other student groups in the university including the Arts Student Body Council and the UM Parks Club. Irina moved to Winnipeg at a young age and had the privilege of growing up in the dynamic Ukrainian community. Over the years she has done various volunteer work in and outside of the Ukrainian community, and is currently involved with organizing the 6th Annual Ukrainian Kino Film Festival in Winnipeg. This is Irina’s first year on the SUSK Board of Directors and is thrilled to be apart of such a great team making a difference in the Ukrainian community.
