SUSK is a national student organization comprised of Ukrainian student organizations at post-secondary institutions across Canada. The purpose of our organization is to coordinate projects and resources of Ukrainian Student Organizations. We aim to unite and empower Ukrainian Canadian students through various initiatives and programs. Our work fosters a sense of community and cultural preservation among students.

 

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Web & Content Specialist (Intern). The Intern will support the organization’s communications by creating, updating, and managing content across various platforms. This includes website maintenance, email newsletters, social media content, digital guides, and other communication materials. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

 

Important Information – Canada Summer Jobs Program

This position is funded through the Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) program. To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment;
  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred (international students are not eligible);
  • Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) and be legally entitled to work in Canada.

 

This is a temporary full-time position for 6 to 8 weeks, with the final working day no later than August 28, 2025.

You will be paid minimum wage based on the rate in your province or territory.

 

Qualifications

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills (required).
  • Interest in community engagement and/or the Ukrainian Canadian community (required).
  • Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress), email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), and social media tools is an asset.
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva or Adobe Suite) are an asset.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
