Scholarships

A list of scholarships and awards across the country available exclusively to Ukrainian students to help you achieve your academic and personal goals and reward you for all of your hard work!

 

Buduchnist Credit Union (link)

Buduchnist Credit Union awards up to five scholarships to members of the Credit Union who are enrolled full time in an undergraduate or graduate university program and demonstrate both academic achievement and community leadership.

To be eligible students must be members of the Credit Union for a minimum of two years and have completed one year of a university program with a minimum B average.

The Wolodymyr Klish Memorial Scholarship: One award of $2,500 for a student of Business/Finance.

The Buduchnist Scholarship: Up to four awards of $1,500 for any field of study. At the discretion of the Scholarship Committee, one scholarship is designated for a student of Ukrainian studies.

 

*New* Recovery Village Health Care Scholarship (link)

The Recovery Village is dedicated to maintaining exceptional service while providing unique opportunities for education and personal development. As part of this commitment, The Recovery Village is offering a $1,000 scholarship to students pursuing a medical-related course of study.

To enter to win a $1,000 scholarship, simply submit a short essay (no more than 500 words) describing why you are passionate about substance use disorder and mental health treatment. Essays can be in the form of a personal narrative with a medical perspective or focus specifically on clinical experience.

 

St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral of Toronto (link)

  1. Four scholarships of $1,500 each – This scholarship is open to post-secondary students who are members of a Ukrainian Orthodox Church within the Eastern Eparchy of Canada.
  2. Two scholarships of $1500 each – The theology scholarship is open to theology students who are members of any Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Canada.
