From August 24-27, 1978, SUSK elected James Dmytro Jacuta as its president. The Executives included: David Lupul, Bohdan Somchynsky, Irka Scharabun, Marusia Bociurkiw, Olenka Lupul, Bohdan Ilkiw, Ivan Jaworsky, and Andrij Makuch.
